Anna’s Priorities

Expand Our Housing Market

Anna is working to cut red tape so homeowners and builders can keep investing in Anchorage. She’s already taken major steps to increase housing: easier permitting, flexible rules, and more options to meet the needs of every generation. She’ll keep working to make it easier for people to live, build, and stay in Anchorage.

Addressing Homelessness

Anna helped expand year-round shelter and coordinate housing, outreach, and mental health services so people get the help they need. She’ll continue to work on long-term solutions that balance compassion with accountability.

Increasing Public Safety

Anna is focused on keeping every neighborhood to be safe and healthy. She’s supported full police and fire staffing, starting up our Mobile Crisis Team and mental health first response, and closing nuisance properties like the Chelsea Inn. She’ll continue to work upstream to prevent crime and deterioration.

Passing a Balanced Budget

Anna works to ensure Anchorage spends public dollars responsibly. She supports funding core services like snow plowing, parks, and road maintenance—while making sure every tax dollar is used effectively and responsibly. She will continue to budget for the city we want and can afford.

Getting Results for Our District

From repaving 100th Avenue and Forest Park Drive to improving Fish Creek Trail and local parks, Anna champions local projects that make our neighborhoods safer, stronger, and great places to call home. Anna will continue to work hard for West Anchorage!
