About Anna

Anna is dedicated to making Anchorage work for everyone. With her professional background in planning, policy, and project management, Anna uses her skills and knowledge to work on Anchorage’s key issues: housing affordability, public safety, fixing aging infrastructure, and finding opportunities to grow a next-generation economy. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Assembly, Co-Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee, and helps represent the Municipality’s interests in federal and state policy and advocacy.

A West Anchorage homeowner for over a decade, Anna spent years advocating and volunteering in the community before being elected to the Assembly in 2023. She previously served as chair of the Municipality’s Budget Advisory Commission, an officer for Spenard and Turnagain Community Councils, and board member for NeighborWorks Alaska. Anna continues to serve on her HOA board, run a small consulting business, and show up for Anchorage wherever she’s needed. She lives in Sand Lake with her family, two cats, her favorite bike, and an endless list of DIY projects.
